Pleased to meet you!
Hello! My interest in public service began at the age of 18, in San Diego, where I founded and administered a public health nonprofit organization, later going on to work as an outreach coordinator and volunteer with the Los Angeles Homeless Youth Coalition.
My interest in helping others continued while in college, and beyond, serving as a volunteer with the Tarrant County Medical Reserve Corps, and even working H1N1 Vaccination Logistics for a County Public Health Department.
My diverse educational background includes undergraduate studies in trumpet performance at Fullerton College, The University of Texas at Arlington, and study of in contemporary arranging and composition with faculty at the Berklee College of Music. I've taught in public schools for over 7 years, and also teach orchestral and studio trumpet privately in North Texas.
I'm a member of the Massachusetts Music Education Association, the National Association for Music Education, and Texas Music Educator's Association, and Secretary of the Green Party of Tarrant County. I'm also a professional member of The Asperger's & Autism Network, which empowers neurodiverse individuals across the United States.
Currently, I teach privately as an orchestral trumpet player and am the founder, President, and Executive Director of a nonprofit corporation focused on public audits of statistics for police policy reform, and government policy reform.
Fun/trivia fact: I'm red-green colourblind.
